Supplier Quality & Documentation Expectations

Quortis Group Aviation aims to work with suppliers and service providers who understand the importance of documentation, traceability, product authenticity and professional communication in civil aviation.

  • Supplier identity – suppliers should provide clear legal name, trading name, registered address, operating location and contact details.
  • Quality and approval evidence – OEM authorisation, distributor approval, AS9120 / AS9100 / ISO 9001 certification, repair station approval, calibration accreditation or other relevant quality credentials may be requested where relevant.
  • Documentation capability – release certificates, certificates of conformity, maintenance release documents, traceability records, test reports, calibration certificates, shelf-life / cure-date information and Back-to-Birth Trace where requested.
  • Accurate condition descriptions – New, New surplus, Overhauled, Serviceable, Repaired, Repairable, As removed or As-is must not be used misleadingly.
  • Tooling and test equipment – suppliers should state manufacturer, model/part number, serial number, condition, calibration status, certificate, due date, accessories and software/firmware version where relevant.
