Customer Terms & Commercial Conditions
Last updated: 14 September 2026
These Customer Terms & Commercial Conditions set out the standard commercial basis on which Quortis Group Aviation may provide parts sourcing, maintenance-focused technical consultancy, aircraft acquisition support, aircraft sales support or related business-jet support services.
Business Role
Unless expressly agreed in writing, Quortis Group Aviation does not act as an approved maintenance organisation, certifying staff organisation, airworthiness authority, escrow agent, paymaster, freight forwarder, insurer, legal adviser or tax adviser.
Quotations
All quotations are subject to availability, prior sale, supplier confirmation, documentation review, price confirmation, export/import feasibility, sanctions and compliance review where applicable, and final written acceptance by Quortis Group Aviation. A quotation does not create a binding obligation until accepted and confirmed in writing.
Pricing and Payment
Unless stated otherwise in writing, pricing excludes VAT, customs duties, import taxes, freight, insurance, handling fees, bank charges, storage charges, third-party inspection charges, additional documentation charges and certification or release-document charges. Payment terms will be stated in the relevant quotation, invoice, pro forma invoice or written agreement. Quortis Group Aviation may require payment in advance, deposit payment, staged payment, payment before supplier order confirmation, payment before release of goods or payment before commencement of technical or review work.
Delivery Terms
Delivery terms will be stated in the relevant quotation or purchase documentation. Where Incoterms are used, the applicable Incoterm and version should be clearly stated in writing. Unless otherwise agreed, freight, insurance, customs clearance, duties, import taxes and related third-party costs are the customer’s responsibility. Estimated delivery dates are for planning purposes only and remain subject to supplier confirmation, logistics availability, export/import requirements and factors outside Quortis Group Aviation’s control.
Documentation
Where applicable, the customer should specify required documentation at RFQ stage. This may include FAA Form 8130-3, EASA Form 1, TCCA Form One, Certificate of Conformity, maintenance release documentation, traceability documents, Back-to-Birth Trace, TSN / CSN data, shelf-life or cure-date information, calibration certificates for tooling or test equipment where applicable, and other relevant supporting records.
Quortis Group Aviation does not certify parts for installation or determine airworthiness suitability. Final acceptance remains with the appropriately authorised person, organisation, owner, operator, installer or certifying staff.
Returns, Warranty and Cancellations
Returns, cancellations and warranty rights are subject to the relevant supplier, OEM, repair station, distributor or manufacturer terms, and any specific written agreement. Special-order, sourced-on-request, repairable, as-removed, calibrated, shelf-life controlled, electrical, software-related or customer-specific items may be non-cancellable and non-returnable unless otherwise agreed.
Standard Terms and Conditions of Sale for Goods
Business-to-business sales of goods may additionally be governed by the Quortis Group Aviation Standard Terms & Conditions of Sale (QGA-STCS-001), as revised from time to time, together with any quotation-specific terms. Quotation-specific terms prevail to the extent of any direct conflict.
Compliance and Limitation
Quortis Group Aviation may decline, suspend or discontinue any enquiry, quote, order or relationship where legal, sanctions, export-control, documentation, ethical or commercial risk is unacceptable. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Quortis Group Aviation shall not be liable for indirect loss, consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of opportunity, business interruption or losses arising from inaccurate customer information, supplier delay, freight delay, customs delay, regulatory delay or rejected documentation where requirements were not clearly specified. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Standard Terms of Technical Consultancy & Aircraft Acquisition
Maintenance-focused technical consultancy and aircraft acquisition support services may additionally be governed by the Quortis Group Aviation Standard Terms of Technical Consultancy & Aircraft Acquisition Support (QGA-STSV-001), as revised from time to time, together with any engagement-specific terms.
